Other benefits we like include the following…

The Coyote C Series Grills Offer Plenty Of Choices
But don’t worry, these are great choices to have.
While you can opt between propane and natural gas, freestanding or built-in versions when purchasing your Coyote grill, there are also two types of flame tamers you can choose from depending on your preference.
You can choose the standard stainless steel flame tamers or you can opt for the ceramic briquettes version. Whichever you choose, they both cover the entire cooking area and turn drippings into wonderful flavor inducing smoke.
Cook With Gas Or Charcoal With Coyote C Series Grills
When you buy the Coyote Charcoal Tray as a separate add-on, you can also grill with charcoal whenever the mood strikes you.
It all comes down to a griller’s cooking preference and flavor palate. Some enjoy the smokier flavors of charcoal. However, others like that cooking with gas isn’t as messy.
Now you can have the best of both worlds whenever the desire hits you.
Kudos to Coyote Outdoor Living for allowing us to have the option to pick as we wish. A little experimentation and variety never hurt.
Designed With Upgrades In Mind
If you’re all about trying new things, the C-Series 28-inch Grill will give that to you and more with their variety of add-ons you can purchase separately from Coyote Outdoor Living.
We’ve already discussed the option to purchase a charcoal tray and ceramic briquettes, yet there is still more.
Coyote also offers Signature Grill Grates, a Stainless-Steel Drop in Griddle, and many other accessories to pair with your BBQ.
Having the options to personalize your grilling experience through different add-ons makes this Coyote BBQ even more relevant for grillers and all their needs.
Pin Point Heat Control
But with the Coyote C Series, the heat is pretty spot-on. This is in part be due to the double-walled lid. The heat control grids also assist with creating better precision and more even distribution of heat throughout the cooking space.
High Temperatures When You Need It
Many grills max out at 500 to 600 F, which can be a bummer – but not this Coyote grill.
Of course, if you prefer, this grill has the capability of cooking low and slow while preserving the juices of your meats.
You’ll get great flavor no matter what you cook on this grill.
Using Coyote Gas Grills
After installing and leak-testing your Coyote C-Series 28-Inch Built-In Gas Grill, ensuring each burner tube is placed over each valve adequately, and of course, hooking up and turning on your propane (unless you’re using charcoal), firing up Coyote built grills is simple.
Just press and turn the knob associated with the burner you wish to light, turning it to “high.” Once you see the spark, your grill is ready to go after you let it heat up and turn the knob to the appropriate temperature.
The quick automatic ignition of Coyote gas grills makes getting to the actual cooking even faster. After you’re finished cooking, simply turn the knob to the off position.
As for the cleaning process, Coyote suggests – after the grill has cooled down – to use warm water or a degreaser to remove debris from your BBQ then drying with a clean towel to prevent discoloration after washing.
Coyote also recommends polishing the outside of your grill occasionally with a third-party polish applied with a paper towel.
If you’re skipping the cleaning process, wait for the Coyote BBQ to cool down completely before putting on grill cover.

The top of the line burners are the same ones used on Coyotes premium S-Series models as well.
They are reliable and extremely easy to light with a push and twist of a knob.
Being able to reach substantial heat in your Coyote grill means a great cooking experience and a generous sear on your favorite meats.
You’ll also get a nice blackening on vegetables and other bites to eat. Your final products will look as impressive as they taste.

Interior Halogen Grill Lights
This especially comes in handy when it comes to grilling during the seasons where the nights are long. You’ll no longer have to stop barbecuing just because of the time.
After having a grill equipped with interior grill lights, you will never turn to a BBQ without them I promise you that.
It’s a great way to conveniently see what you’re doing without having to bring out your own source of light to your barbecuing session.
Stainless Steel Flame Tamers

Considering they better disperse heat to the cooking surface, the 304 stainless-steel flame tamers found underneath the cooking grates are a great feature in the Coyote C Series Grill.
Thanks to the flame tamers, you can also be sure that drippings will be vaporized to provide even greater flavor for your meats or other foods you’re cooking.
With this integral flavor aspect, you might not even miss charcoal or wood pellet grilling in the slightest.

This also means the construction is stronger and bound to last without significant damage.
Having a removable warming rack inside the double-walled lid is another part you’ll love in Coyote gas grills.

Who Is The Coyote C-Series 28-Inch Built-In Gas Grill Made For?
From the reliable press and turn ignition to the 304 stainless steel body and burners, this BBQ is a fit for many.
This is also a popular option for people wanting to get a quality grill in a small space.
Both new and long-term barbequers will fall in love with this Coyote propane grill, that is, if you prefer an actual quality grilling experience more so than the fancy aesthetics.
Coyote keeps the emphasis on the quality of the interior to bring you value in the flavor of whatever you whip up on this griller.
Some grills on the market are not equipped with automatic lighting and take a while to heat up. That said, individuals who prefer a quicker grilling experience will love that the Coyote C-Series 28-Inch Grill doesn’t waste time when it comes to lighting or heating.
The convenience is spoiling, but it’s fantastic.
Why You Should Think Twice
For the price, you’re getting a nice and easy grilling experience, but if you’re wanting a grill that has a fancy exterior, you’d be lying to yourself if you thought the Coyote C-Series Gas Grill was the best BBQ for you.
It’s fairly simplistic and tidy from the outside.
It’s also safe to say that if you want the latest technology equipped in your grill – as in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or an LED screen display – you won’t be getting it with this Coyote grill. However, sometimes being too high-tech can actually ruin a grill; it just means more malfunctions and more future repairs.
Lastly, grillers who have trust issues with the longevity of a BBQ won’t be pleased with Coyote’s limited warranty on some of the parts of their C-Series 28-Inch Gas Grill. There are grills in this price range that offer a better warranty.
Pros And Cons
Of course, based on your personal preferences, yours may be different from mine. However, we are going to base this off the average user.
The Good
- Stainless steel construction, burners, & grates
- Top of the line Cast Stainless Steel Infinity Burners
- Heat control grids distribute heat evenly
- Interior halogen grill lights
- Fully assembled at time of purchase
- Hand-welded grill box
- Heats up quickly
- Upgrade options galore
- Seamless trimming
The Bad
- Back of the grill burns slightly hotter
- Limited warranty
Price And Warranties
Priced at a very decent cost with wonderful features, consumers will be pleased.
One of the downsides, however, is the limited warranty of certain parts of this BBQ.
For the body and the burners, Coyote C Series Grills have a lifetime warranty, but the warranty ranges for other parts: 5 years for the cooking grids, 2 years for the flame tamers, 1 year on plastic and electrical components, and 1 year for the ignition and valve.
Setting the warranty aside, the price for the Coyote C Series 28 Inch Gas Grill is within the range for many BBQ buyers, that is, who want a quality product.

The Bottom Line
Finding a stainless-steel built grill with high-heat capacity, easy grilling, and overall versatility all for a great price isn’t always easy – but with this grill, you get all of that.
However, what would make this grill even more favorable is if it had a longer warranty on crucial parts (but isn’t this an issue with a majority of grills?!).
In the end, the quality is there, and Coyote Outdoor Living can be trusted as they place high on value.
Generally, those who enjoy getting great bang for their buck and love a simple grilling experience, the Coyote C-Series 28-Inch Grill may be a trustworthy BBQ for you.
Ultimately, I think the Coyote C Series Grills 28-Inch’s excellent value and quality build is the real reason why you would want to purchase this grill.
