Have you ever tasted the mouth-watering goodness of well-cooked BBQ at a friend’s house and imagined yourself preparing the same? I’m here to tell you that these same results are achievable for you if you start with the right grilling system. Enter the Weber Spirit E 310 Grill. When I start thinking of a well-designed, dependable, top of the line grill, the first name that comes to mind is Weber. Weber has been in business and creating outdoor cooking systems for over sixty years. Like a lot of people I know, I have many great memories of Weber grills bringing loved ones together.
Weber means quality, durability and great BBQ to me. Their grills are designed to stand up to the outdoor elements. Problems that plague 90% of your local lineup of hardware store grills just don’t exist with Weber grills. They are one of the oldest and most respected creators of grilling equipment and BBQ accessories in the world for a reason.
Weber grills cook wonderfully and have awesome features that are clever, useful and easy to use. As more and more grilling brands pop up year after year, Weber continually earns their reputation for the above-mentioned reasons and for outstanding customer service and support to stay one-step ahead of the competition.
This Weber Spirit E 310 review will help you decide for yourself if Weber is a brand worth trusting.
The Weber Spirit E 310 Grill
The Weber Spirit E 310 3-burner gas grill has generous grilling space, along with consistent and superior temperature control, essential backyard chef features and it’s all rolled up into an affordable gas grill package. The porcelain-enameled lid features a center-mounted thermometer that accurately reads the inside of the grill for preheating and cooking. A painted steel door encloses a roomy storage area. There is ample space inside for both the LP tank and grilling accessories.
The front mounted knobs and valves are precisely engineered to accurately control the stainless steel burners. The electronic ignition makes lighting a breeze, and the cross over lighting system allows you to light the other burners off the first, without having to hit the ignition switch again. The easy to read, built in fuel gauge accurately measures the amount of LP gas in the tank, so meal planning becomes a breeze.
Inside the spirit gas grill, porcelain enameled cast iron grates, heat evenly and sear foods beautifully. The spirit E-310 Gas Grill is essential for the griller that demands power and performance. In addition to a quality grill investment, this unit will serve the family for years to come.

The Weber Spirit E 310 LP Grill has three stainless steel burners that crank out 32,000 BTU’s of cooking power. Being the largest Spirit model, it features 424 square inches of primary cooking surface and a 105 square inch warming rack. That’s a total of 529 square inches of prime cooking area. This 3-burner grill has enough cooking space to easily feed most families.
The E 310 comes with porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates that retain heat enough to create grill marks. They provide superior heat retention and clean up easily. The porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars protect and prolong the life of the burners. The Flavorizer bars are also designed to vaporize falling juices, creating flavorful smoke that provides your food with that great BBQ taste.
An Electronic Crossover ignition system lights the three burners with just one touch of the igniter button. An easy-to-read fuel gauge accurately measures the amount of LP gas in the tank.
Regardless of the price range, you fall under, the internal temperature gauge thermometers built into the hoods are mostly low quality and inaccurate. They are routinely off by as much as 50°F. That is why I always recommend a good digital meat thermometer that includes a probe that can be placed on the cooking surface for accurate temperature readings.
What Makes Weber Grills Better Than Most Other Brands?
It’s the many Weber “extra’s” and their attention to details. Weber meticulously thinks through every detail, down to the smallest screw, to make sure you’re not just getting a grill–you’re getting a grill that lasts.
It’s things like an easy-to-read built-in fuel gauge to accurately measure the amount of LP gas left in the tank. Six tool hooks for hanging needed grilling accessories within reach. An enclosed cart with smooth-rolling casters, and a porcelain-enameled steel shroud. This means no fading, peeling, or rusting to worry about. The Weber Spirit 310 gas grill features a grease management system that consists of an angled grease tray and catch pan that rests beneath the cook box. It is a safe distance from the burner tubes to prevent the grease from catching fire.
The sturdy porcelain-enameled lid opens smoothly and easily on its hinges. Weber’s gas grill cook boxes are made of cast aluminum and are durable, efficient, and require minimal maintenance and care. They can withstand the heat needed to grill at any temperature.
These are just some of the many great features on this Weber Spirit E-310 3-Burner LP Gas Grill.
Weber Spirit E 310 Grill Owner Feedback
The Weber Spirit E 310 Grill has received many positive comments from its owners at Amazon.com. It has over 1,500 reviews on Amazon alone and is currently rated 4.5 out of 5 stars. In all fairness, its owners have also voiced some negative reviews.
One of the few complaints about this gas grill was that it was somewhat difficult to hang the Propane tank on the scale hook. Another common complaint has to do with poor packaging and dented items from shipping.
According to a lot of feedback from people who have used this grill for several years, assembly was simple right out of the package. It heats up quickly and it cooks evenly, accurately and with precision. Lastly, I see a lot of owners love the look of this grill. “It is beautiful when assembled. It is a real work of art.”
Although the Spirit family is Weber’s entry-level price point, these grills are still more expensive than many other well-known grill brands. Even with that being said, most Spirit E 310 owners attest to the quality, durability, and performance. They feel they are worth the price.
Conclusion
Quite Simply, Weber gas grills are the gold benchmark in the industry. With attention to details, intelligent designs and being built to last, it’s hard to go wrong with a Weber grill. They work beautifully, almost never break down and they look darn good. To top it all off, Weber is well known for having great customer service.
Look to the Weber Spirit E 310 Grill for ingenuity, quality and a company that guarantees their product. This grill is a champ in the outdoor cooking market and worth a good look by all fans of propane gas grills.

The first 5 times I used the grill started right up and heated up very quickly. Now, it won’t heat up and I’m just not happy with the purchase. Every time I go to eat I can’t cause the grill doesn’t work properly.
Wish I never bought this grill
Hi Kris, I am sorry you have had such a bad experience with you Weber Spirit E 310 Grill. It sounds like you may have gotten a defective unit? I don’t work for them, but have you tried contacting Weber for assistance? Weber is known for quality customer service and I am sure they will be able to help. Let us know what happens if you don’t mind so we can keep informed.
I just finished putting a Spirit 310 together. The instructions made it very easy, and if you spend a few minutes reviewing them prior to beginning, you should have no problems. All the screws, washers and bolts are packaged in separate packets and are in the order needed, and clearly indicated in the instructions. Took me longer than I expected, but made myself go slowly to ensure I got things right.
Congrats on your new grill! Thank you for sharing your experience and it is nice to hear you didn’t have any issues. It’s nice to know that Weber is still living up to their reputation for putting out a quality product. We hope to hear back on all the awesome things you will be cooking on your Spirit 310. Thanks again for sharing Bill.
Cheers,
Patrick
Weber Spirit E310 was given as a gift. This BBQ is exceptional. I just did St. Louis Style Ribs with offset heat method. Worked great. Have used for many other cuts. I give it a 10.
When I got it the door was bent in the box. Called Customer Service. They responded immediately. FEDEX delivered new door 2 days later. That is service.
Thank you for your feedback. It is great to hear you have had a good experience with this grill.
